Ready for 2026 e-invoicing

Features

Everything that happens between the quote and the payment

Facturio covers the full cycle, with no add-on plan and no paid module for the basics.

Quotes signed online

Send, chase and e-sign. An accepted quote becomes an invoice in one click, with nothing retyped.

Recurring invoices

Subscriptions, monthly retainers, deposits: the invoice goes out on its own, on the right date, with the right number in sequence.

Automatic reminders

Three scheduled nudges at day 7, 15 and 30, all rewritable. The tracker shows who opened and who paid.

Structured e-invoice formats

Every invoice is generated as Factur-X, UBL or CII and sent through an approved platform, with delivery statuses tracked.

VAT tracking

Output, input, multiple rates, reverse charge, exemptions: totals are computed as you go and ready to export.

Accounting export

FEC, CSV or read-only access for your accountant. Month-end closes in a few minutes.

Compliance

What 2026 changes

Electronic invoicing gradually replaces the PDF sent by email. Here are the steps, and what Facturio does for you at each of them.

  1. Today

    Get your data in order

Company number, VAT number, mandatory mentions, exact client details: this is the data that will travel in structured form.

    What Facturio automates

Mentions are checked before every send, and missing identifiers are flagged in plain language.

  2. 1 September 2026

    Receiving becomes mandatory

VAT-registered businesses must be able to receive an invoice in electronic format.

    What Facturio automates

An e-invoice inbox is opened on your account, with receipts and automatic matching.

  3. 1 September 2026

    Issuing — large companies

Large companies and mid-sized enterprises start issuing their invoices in electronic format.

    What Facturio automates

Clients who switched before you are received, read and archived with nothing for you to do.

  4. 1 September 2027

    Issuing — small businesses

Everyone else, including freelancers and very small firms, starts issuing in electronic format.

    What Facturio automates

The switch happens server side: same screen, same gesture, a different output format.

  5. Ongoing

    Transaction reporting

Some transaction and payment data is reported to the tax authority on a regular basis.

    What Facturio automates

Reports are prepared, sent, and their status shown on your dashboard.

Why Facturio

Software written for people who invoice alone

Facturio started in 2019 inside an accounting practice in Lyon: too many clients spent their evenings fixing invoice numbers and missing legal mentions. We built the tool we would have recommended to them.

The product rests on one idea: you enter the work, Facturio handles the rest — continuous numbering, mandatory mentions, sending format, archiving. What belongs to regulation should never be your problem.

  • Continuous numbering checked at every issue
  • Mandatory mentions verified before sending
  • Tamper-evident archiving for 10 years
  • Support from accountants, not from a bot

Notes from the field

I moved my 60 retainer clients over on a Sunday afternoon. I have not touched an invoice since: they go out on the 1st by themselves.
Nadia Kerbouche Independent HR consultant — Nantes
My accountant has read-only access. We dropped the email file exchange, and the typing errors with it.
Yann Lecomte Cabinetmaker — 2 employees
The electronic format question worried me. Seeing the compliant marker appear on every invoice lifted a weight.

Frequently asked

What people ask us most

Does French e-invoicing apply to me?

In practice it applies to every VAT-registered business established in France, on different dates depending on company size. Which date applies to you depends on your situation: your accountant is best placed to confirm it.

What if the official timetable changes?

We follow the texts and update Facturio without any action on your side. The dates shown on this site are indicative and replace neither an official source nor your adviser.

Can I bring my existing invoices across?

Yes. You import a CSV file or a PDF archive from your current tool, and we pick up the numbering where you left off so the sequence stays unbroken.

Is my data hosted in France?

Yes, with a French host and daily encrypted backups. You can export all of your data at any time, without asking us.

Can I stop whenever I want?

No minimum term: the subscription is monthly and can be cancelled from your account. Your exports stay available for 90 days after cancellation.
